The smoothie challenge software is running, but the bikes aren’t registering or moving…
Check the “diagnostics” tab, there is a graph here with two lines (red and blue) as the wheel rotates on each bike, is there a peak in the graph?
If no, then either the bikes are not connected or there is a DAQ card issue.
If yes, then the bikes are ok. Move to the “config” tab.
Is there any information on screen, or are all the boxes blank? – they are probably blank, and the LabVIEW config file has corrupted.
Fill in the boxes (some are on the diagnostic tab):
- Event Title = as per event setup
- Programme = SOA number of event
- Programme name = as per event setup
- Target distance = as per event setup
- Distance covered = 0
- Target name = as per event setup
- event = event number of event
- Player 1 name = leave as is
- Player 2 name = leave as is
- Simulation mode = switched off (not illuminated)
- player 1 counter = 0
- player 2 counter = 0
- Bike 1 Line IN = Dev2/port0/line7
- Bike 2 Line IN = Dev2/port0/line6
- music volume = 60
- last winner = 0
VERY IMPORTANT ONES:
- smoothie mile multiplication factor = 4
- general wait = 3
- bounce wait = 5
Without the above 3 options set, the race will not work.
Press “Save Config” and you should now be fine.
